Jameson is known for delivering some of the hottest events in town.
We’ve partied at a Colonial House (Jaekel House), under the bridge of Lagos (Costain Parks and Gardens) and this time, the brand is taking us to a Train Station (The Old Running Shed), for one day only as Jameson Connects returns bigger than ever!!!
Located in The Nigerian Railway Compound in Ebute–Metta, the seat of Power of the British Colony for many years, The Old Running Shed currently houses some train relics, a kitchen module used for Prime Minister Tafawa Balewa’s train, and a carriage that was part of the Royal Train in 1956.
For a day only, Jameson will deliver an immersive brand experience like no other to celebrate Independence day. Enjoy a cut and trim over a complimentary drink, get your sneaks on and enjoy the sneaker shine experience, enjoy a bunch of gourmet junk food with a local twist from premium vendors, airy hangout spots, interactive gaming spaces and the arts and crafts zone. If there is ever a drink that made us feel alright, then you must try the signature drink – the palm wine twist – a cheeky blend of the smooth Irish Whiskey and a twang of our local palm wine!
This year, the music stage curated by Ade Bantu and Abby Ogunsaya (the duo behind Afropolitan Vibes) will see artists such as Kaliné and Show Dem Camp take the stage for special one-off performances as Aye will be on deck all the way through with his much loved urban and afro-pop sound.
In the spirit of the Independence Day celebration, make sure you bring the green vibes!
Jameson Connects Nigeria will take place on Sunday, October 1, at The Old Running Shed, Ebute-Metta, Yaba from 3pm till 10pm.
The hype is real, so make sure you register for your complimentary tickets as tickets are limited!
Performing artists will also be giving out free tickets on social media so be on the lookout!
