Mzansi Youth Choir was opportune to perform at the Arab and African Youth Platform in Aswan, Egypt.

The event which held for over 3 days in March, was founded for youth in both regions to share and exchange experiences under the auspices of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi.

The choir made such an impression on the Egyptian president that he invited them to stay on and also perform at the closing ceremony, which was held for the second time in Egypt since its inception three years ago.

This international forum hosts a wide range of participants, including heads of states and government, international and inspiring young leaders and prominent international figures from around the world.

Babalwa Maqungu, Head Chorister of the choir said: “This trip has opened my mind and eyes to how important we as Africans are and how we can be part of changing our future for the better.”Mzansi-choir
