InfinixMobility had hosted an event yesterday in Dubai for the launch of a new smartphone called Infinix Zero 5. The smartphone features a premium design, a long-lasting battery, a dual rear camera setup and other good features.
A few days back, we came across reports on GSMArena tipping the launch of the Infinix Zero 5 on November 14 and as promised, the long-awaited Infinix Zero 5 is here, launched globally.
The all-new Infinix Zero 5 sports dual rear cameras with support for optical zoom and portrait mode. There’s an octa-core processor powering the device while it packs 6GB of RAM.
Infinix also launched Infinix Zero 5 Pro with just the internal memory being different.
The Infinix Zero 5 features a 5.98-inch full-HD 2.5D curved glass display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P25 processor clocked at 2.6GHz coupled with 6GB of RAM.
The Infinix Zero 5 comes with 64GB onboard storage while the Infinix Zero 5 Pro comes with 128GBstorage. There’s no difference between the two handsets apart from the onboard storage. Both devices support expandable storage via microSD card (up to 128GB).
Infinix Zero 5 comes with dual rear cameras. 12-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX386 sensor, f/2.0 aperture, and dual LED Flash as well as a secondary 13-megapixel camera with telephoto lens, f/2.6 aperture, and 2x optical zoom. While the front camera packs a 16-megapixel camera with LED flash.
The smartphone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box topped with the company’s custom skin XOS 3.0. The other goodies include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, dual SIM support and a capacious 4350mAh battery with support for quick charging.
Other features include a fingerprint sensor, USB-C connector, dual SIM support with a separate microSD slot.
Price and availability
Infinix Zero 5 64GB is priced at $275 while the 128GB is priced at $306. The online sale commences at midnight on November 22.
